Harold's musical background and influences are very diverse. From the age of five, he began singing gospel music in his church and school choirs. Harold maintained his interest in music through high school by playing guitar and singing for various rock bands. In the mid 80's, he began performing in R&B groups covering mostly 70's and Motown artists. His influences are Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole, Marvin Gay, Will Downing, Kevin Mahogany, Al Jarreau, and George Benson.
Harold has made guest appearances with Janet Beaman & Te'Naj, The John Cole Blues Band, Sunny Miles and Smiles, The Mark Cassara Band, The Bill Tiberio Group, Paradigm Shift, Wycliffe Gordon, and Al Chez (of the David Letterman Show Band). He is also the featured guest vocalist on Bill Tiberio's album "The Story Ends...The Story Begins" on the Trier Records label. Currently, Harold performs with The Half Ton Horns, Midnight Groove, Paradigm Shift, and Dog House.
